***OFFICIAL ST. LOUIS AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Fleck and Pitino must have attended the same seminar on running out the clock way too early.

Press problems are because Carr dribbles too much and his help runs away from him. You learn in HS that your help needs to stay even with you or behind you in the backcourts to make an easier pass when you get trapped. But this certainly IS a coaching point.
Maybe he will come back next year to work on this....

pitino didn’t call for Gabe to pass up an open 3 and travel.
I had no issues with that set. I was more referring to the part before that where Carr dribbled the ball for 15 seconds at the half court circle.

Facing this press and high pressure D is definitely good experience for our squad

Right. But if you get a good look out of it that is fine. Gabe blew it.

I didn’t realize St Louis was 25th in kenpom

it’s early but they aren’t going to lose a ton in the conference Portion of their schedule I wouldn’t think

The refs aren't very good. There have been several fouls uncalled during the Saint Louis press. That shooting foul on Carr probably wasn't a foul.

Maybe they're actually umps.

This last 2:30 is going to take a half hour at this pace.

Trent Tucker has been less of a Homer than most - e.g. Dan Dakich.
