    Kill's Wikipedia page

Per wikipedia: "To the disgust of Gopher fans who had hoped for and deserved so much more, on December 5, 2010, Kill has been reported to have accepted the head coaching position at the University of Minnesota. A press conference is reportedly scheduled for December 6 to announce the hire."

So let me get this straight...

Around 75% of the fan base knows that Leach is far and away the best choice. Leach wants to coach here. WTF? Why can't Leach even get an interview? Why in the hell do we tolerate an administration whose priorities are not about putting a winning product on the field? My guess is that this...

    The 'Real' Mike Leach

Since I am probably the only person on this board that has ever met Mike Leach, let me tell you a little bit about him. About a year ago (a week before the ‘James incident’), I actually got to sit down and talk with Leach for about two-and-half hours. I am still not sure what he was doing in...

    Leach MUST be the guy

If the powers that be aren’t seriously considering Leach, then it shows in my mind that winning, for whatever reason, just isn’t a top priority. Besides, Patterson, Peterson, and Harbaugh, of whom I do not believe we have a shot at anyway, Leach is the ONLY candidate that is a sure fire, 100%...

    When did you know?

I must admit, that I never believed Mason should have been fired. Whatever the case, I am wondering: At what point did you know that Brewster had to go? Was it a play? Was it a game? Was it a press conference remark? For me, I had some deep suspicions when Brewster could not articulate...

    FOR THE RECORD

Before we lose by 40 tomorrow, I just wanted to reiterate publicly the stupidity it was in scheduling USC for such a fruitless endeavor. I have argued numerous times that the logic in doing so just does not add up. There is absolutely no benefit that will be derived from the scheduling of this...

    Quandry

I love the Gophers; however, I found myself lately struggling to root for them. In fact, there is a small part of me that hopes we lose so we can get rid of the snakeoil saesman of a coach. The sooner we get rid of this guy, the sooner we will get back on the right track! Is anyone else going...

    Does anybody know if...

Sampson and Iverson put on the muscle in the off-season like we all hoped they would? I love their potential, but got they looked a little overmatched against the big boys, e.g., Texas. Beyond finding a go-to-guy, Sampson and Iverson's development will be key in how far this team can go.

Tell me I am wrong now...

Tell me how this program is on the right path....tell me how about the wonderful talent on this team...tell me about the wonderful recruiting job of Brewster...tell me that Mason sucked and didn't know what he was doing. Yep! My criticism has been misguided and y'all kool-aid drinkers have...

    Home-and-home with...........

Texas. I am not sure if it has been reported in Minnesota, but Longhorn radio announcers tonight were saying that a home-and-home series has been confirmed with the Gophers and UT. I think they said the series is supposed to start in 2015. Hopefully, we will find a running game by then.

    Pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Three years later......... A worse team. No identity. Terrible uniforms. But hey, at least we have a new stadium to get embarrased in.

    I am sure glad...

that we got rid of Mason. This is so much better. When are you people going to stop making excuses for Brewster? When are you people going to ADMIT the mistake we made in letting the only good thing we had go?

    WEIGHT ROOM!!

Sampson, Iverson, Johnson, please hit the weight room over the off-season!

    Tough One for Me

While I love the Gophers, a very close second beloved team of mine are the Horns. I was just remarking to some one the other day that I never worry about my two favs playing each other because, at least as long as I remember, it hasn't happened. I should have knocked on wood.

    A Consistent Scoring Threat

I live outside the BTN viewing area so I do not get to see the Gophers play very often. After seeing the new-look Gophers this week against Virginia, I am very excited about the future. I think Iverson is going to be in a lot of B10 coaches’ nightmares for some time to come. I also believe...
