Sparty just lost. No way are they going to want to come to Minneapolis to play us next week!
 


The announcer's used that same introduction last week except last week it was the "surging" gophers. Now it's the "surging" cornhuskers.

Seeing as how I'm watching on camera, I have no credibility here, but that Field Goal looked well left...
 




I'll take holding them to 3 as a victory cuz they were moving the ball at will nearly...
 

Kirkwood, you have to get the first down there. come on man. That's a drive killer. Don't get fancy on the screen pass, run forward.
 


That kick reminded me of that one that Wettstein boomed over the upright from 50+ yards out at Wisconsin, except they called that one a miss.
 



Kirkwood is not a shifty back. He blew that swing pass which would have been an easy first down. What was with the slow developing play on third. Hate that.
