***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT NEBRASKA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Take out Battle and Cooper and this team is competitive. Neither really have the athleticism to play in the Big Ten. Freshman look up to the task.

Down to 6 again. Can we get it lower.

Every time we threaten, Griesell increases the deficit again and Battle makes a blunder.

Cooper isn't good, but who's the PG if he's not?

Defense is so poor on many possessions. Hard to watch.

agreed. also pushes the pressure over onto other guys.

Battle is what he is. A role player on an average team and we thrust him into a spot of being one of our top 2-3 guys, which he just doesn't have the ability for. You play Henley, Carrington, etc in that spot and their stat lines are going to look real rough

And I thought players should be able to dribble when they come to college. Somehow Battle skipped this lesson!

How was that not traveling?

Would imagine that's probably the season for Carrington with him grabbing at the knee

Fucking wonderful. Carrington looks like a bad injury. Hopefully not as bad as it looks.

Refs gotta appreciate not hearing a word from Ben or Hoiberg all game.
They're just so glad they didn't get assigned Michigan State-Iowa with the two biggest whiners in college basketball.

I dunno...putting aside that the Huskers haven't been sharp today...if the Gophers play anything resembling a fundamentally sound game, they're ahead in this thing. This team isn't without ability.
