The last time Juwan Howard stepped in The Barn to battle the Gophers, he was part of the famed Fab 5. Much has changed since those baggy short wearing days, but what hasn’t changed is the need for Minnesota to win at home in the BT.

It certainly won’t be easy but hopefully the crowd is rocking and Minnesota can get a much needed W. If we have any shot at Tournament, we really need to go 2-0 at home this week. It starts Sunday.

GET ‘ER DONE PITINO!!!!!!!!

Way to get out ahead of this one Stan!

I am 100% sure today's Michigan squad will not be coached by: Dave Strack (60-68'). And former Wolverine All-Americans Ricky Greene 77', Eric Turner 81', and Cazzie Russell 64-67' will not be on the elevated floor of Williams Arena today.

Gophers shoot the 3 better at home, and are due for a little home cookin' from the terrible B10 officiating crews. They hang on for a 74-71 win over the 20th ranked Wolves.

Purdue has to be one of the most Jekyll and Hyde teams in awhile.

Gotta beat this team with Livers out.

Lazy and sleep walking so far. We never beat Michigan and it doesn't look like we want to start today.

Oturu and Carr the only guys with any pulse on offense today.

Carr has got to learn to stop trying to dribble through traffic. It’s almost like he has an affliction that prevents him from passing, which isn’t a quality you want from your point guard.

OK Gabe has had his rest, get Willis out of there.

EDIT - nope they took Tre out instead

Gabe can't get a shot off. Same problem against Michigan St.

Dan is playing out of his mind so far. This is not sustainable. Need something, anything, from the backcourt.

6:44 left in the first half and Omersa is our second leading scorer with 2. Next year without Oturu should be interesting.

Quit guarding Gabe.. he needs room to shoot and unable to drive

Let's be honest, Oturu is the whole team. They need to make it a point to get him a solid touch EVERY possession. He's that kind of player, and on a team with minimal talent surrounding him. No excuse for the offense to not go through him every time.

As much as I’d love to see oturu another year, with the way he’s playing you have to think he’s gone

Omersa giving Oturu a rest. That's not going to hold up for long.
