He does seem to be losing contain quite a bit. But it seems like he's getting a lot of pressure on passing situations.

Whitlow's been breaking free off tackle inside of the DEs. One was on Campbell who was spying and got too tight, another was a blitz and the LB and DT got in the same gap and left a lane. TC hasn't been great but he hasn't been the main problem with contain
 


The last throw was good.

And TOs are a part of the game. We've looked like the better team - we've just been wholly ineffective on offense.

Yeah...so they would be winning this game if they had scored more points than us. SMH

I don't know that they have been the better team but they have certainly helped us out a ton with sloppy play and mistakes at crucial times. The Defense has played ok but EIU has been their own worst enemy all night.
 




They blitzed their linebackers on every play. Why do we run right into it?
 

Philly and Dean, aren''t some of these commentors brilliant?
 

Leidner shouldn't be laying himself out like that in a 21-0 game in the 4th quarter.
 

I don't think he made it in. But I can't tell from where I'm sitting.
 




We aren't gonna have any defensive linemen after tonight. That's kind of scary.

Mitch isn't going to last long doing the Mike Alstott like that.
 

If Leidner keeps doing that, he won't last the season. I appreciate that he's a gamer, but he needs to stay healthy.
 


Unfortunately that is still what Mitch is most comfortable with, tucking the ball and running the football with power. He hasn't looked good sitting in the pocket tonight and going through his progressions, but he's still pretty inexperienced and should keep improving.
 



Offense has a lot of work to do before B1G play
 




It is going to be great if Santoso can keep teams from getting returns all year. Awesome to eliminate the potential for the big runback plus it seems like kick returns are where guys get hurt a lot.
 

No Elmore tonight unless I missed him. That may mean they'd like to redshirt him.

As I say that, Steven Richardson absolutely blows up the line, kid is going to be good!
