Saints: Jordan Howden
Bears: Terrell Smith
Texans: Blake Cashman, Eric Murray
Titans: Jack Gibbens
Ravens: Rashod Bateman, Daniel Faalele
Giants: Carter Coughlin, John Michael Schmitz

Seahawks: Boye Mafe
3 from the offense; 11 from the defense.

After being let go by the Vikings, defensive end Esezi Otomewo has landed on the Jaguars practice squad. … Linebacker Damien Wilson and tight end Maxx Williams were the most-grizzled Gophers in the league until this season. Both players, who joined the NFL in 2015, are no longer in the league. Williams has a growing family in his hometown of Waconia. … Gophers head coach P.J. Fleck has been lobbying for Tanner Morgan to come back and coach at the U after Morgan was let go by the Steelers in preseason. Mariano Sori-Marin, waived by the 49ers, is now back at the U as a volunteer coach. … These ex-U players also parted ways with NFL teams in late August: Mo Ibrahim (Lions), Tyler Johnson (Rams), Thomas Rush (Titans) and Chuck Filiaga (Saints). … Chris Streveler was spotted during HBO’s “Hard Knocks” but was released by the Jets during camp. He was later seen back at the University of South Dakota, where he transferred after Minnesota, and was doing broadcasting work in Week 1 of the college football season.

Obviously some improvement the past few years but damn, still work to do. Need guys to make it to their second and third contracts.

Ko Kieft getting some serious downfield targets for Tampa Bay. If Baker makes the throw he would have had a TD.

He is wide open for a touchdown and Baker throws him a 99mph high fastball

Schmitz started for the Giants tonight. Had one pretty bad snap that I saw early in the game, but then settled down. I watched his blocking - I thought he did pretty well, despite the Giants getting absolutely shellacked by Dallas.

Thanks for compiling this. Great to see former Gophers in the league and getting playing time. Winfield is a superstar but looks like a number of others had nice games as well.

I don't believe Faalele starts so he must play on FG and/or in goal line packages?
