Doesn’t even matter though. In the NBA, You can’t be ball dominant and be a bad defender unless you shoot lights out always.

carr shoots lights out sometimes but sometimes hurts the team by being a volume shooter who is off.
I know we are kind of arguing the same thing here but there are certainly high usage guards in the NBA who don't shoot lights out who are - arguably- good offensive players (Westbrook, Ja, SGA, Brogdon, Wall, etc.).

The key is that the worse you are on defense the better you need to be on offense which usually requires something else to be elite (facilitator, defense, getting to the rim).
