I was checking out their roster online (too much free time on my hands tonight). They have 0 players from North Dakota. How can that be? That is really strange. And they have 8 players from Minnesota.

From Sid's column this morning: Mbakwe said Saturday that he wants to sit with Gophers coach Tubby Smith, see where he stands and then make a decision. "I just want to make sure I am on the same page with the coach," Mbakwe said. "Once I do that, there is a great chance I will stay at Minnesota."

What's happening with the the Big East teams so far? They are nearly 0-4 (if Villanova would have lost), and I didn't give a second thought into penciling these teams into the sweet 16 in my bracket. Was the conference overrated?

Watching ESPN and Lunardi had us listed as one of the first four out of the tourney. Looks like we are back on the bubble.

I think Devoe has played very well the last two games. Sure he's had some miscues, but all in all I have been encouraged by what I have seen out of him. He had some clutch mid-range jumpers against Purdue that kept us in the game. And today, he hit some big 3's and was solid at the FT line...

Saw this on ESPN recruiting updates: Louisiana Tech snares three-star linebacker Kevin Kisseberth (http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/recruiting/onthetrail). Not sure if this is a big loss or not. I haven't heard a lot of buzz on this guy for quite a while.
