Memories of...

A) Love the Gophers uni combo this week. Super sharp.
B) The Houston Cougars wore unis with the Oilers color scheme in week 1 I believe. They rocked.

I love this choice for a number of reasons (albeit bizarre):

1. They are the same combo that we wore on a National Stage vs Auburn in 2020,
2. They are "somewhat" similar to FSU's (FSU is 17-3-1 vs UNC),
3. It will be an amazing contrast of colors against Columbia Blue and White and
4. Hoping the Chrome helmets reflect any "sunlight" in the WR's eyes!

Nonetheless, I've always loved this uniform combo.
Better than showing up in white on white on white - IMO

I love it, and I love the chrome gold helmets. I'm surprised we don't have more geezers bitching that chrome gold is not our color and they should be yellow.

Maybe black and anthracite uniforms are so bad, geezers are just happy to see something close enough like chrome gold.
