***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT INDIANA STATE NIT IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Did you like what we just ran at the end of the half there? Stand around for 28 seconds and throw up a panicked heave too late to avoid a shot clock violation? That's coaching.
Well, then, there are no good coaches anymore. Because after watching almost every game of the tournament so far, that consistently happens at the end of halves and games. These players are clueless and it’s not just the Gophers. They take WAY too long to get going.

And by the way, they were several good offensive sets in that first half but you fucking whiners can’t see it because Pharrell Payne kept missing a little easy shots. He and Fox need to put the ball in the basket. We might even be winning if they did.

The players have to execute the plays 🤓

Feel free to let us know what play you’d call coach

The consistency of shot clock violations or forcing shots as it expires is so frustrating- this coupled with consistent poor shooting are areas of the game where coaching matters

Like Charles Barkley said during the NCAA tournament show: "Nobody can outrun a pass."

Indiana State knows that but we don't seem to know that well enough.

Exactly - our advantage is inside and we’re correctly trying to play inside out

There are several times teams wait too long but certainly plenty of cases of teams running a more coherent play than the Gophers ever seem to in those spots. Ben actually draws up good out of bounds plays sometimes, but somehow we can't run a set one in those spots to save our lives.
