I'm not disagreeing on the basketball thing, but getting someone to play baseball who hasn't ever is more difficult than you seem to think.

I do know this: If Flack gets Gable in a uniform as a 3 technique situational DL (or as a short yardage/goal line RB who can twist out of tackles?) the Gophers will add a third player to the “athletic freaks” list. Not bad.
