You don't want that...we can't go to a bowl game with five wins if these guys don't have that carrot to graduate and then move on easily as grad transfers with their degrees.

DL has been really tough to recruit to MN. if the Gophers can't find a way to get more pressure with the DL, they have to start blitzing. can't let QB's sit back there forever.

The D-line this year looked like some the old Mason D-lines where they immediately engage the O-lineman and stay that way as they slowly move the Olineman backwards hoping for an arrival at the QB in about 10 to 12 seconds.

Graduating should mean being done with football. Graduating, in of itself, and moving on to the next phase of life is the carrot.

Vehemently disagree that you should get a no-sit transfer for graduating, regardless of whatever transferring you've done prior to that.

This. Would be nice to bolster the line but that costs a lot.

QB was urgent priority, and it's fine with me if they spent the house to do that.

They are still going to school...this time for a higher degree...some schools don't have a masters degree in their chosen field. Lots of other reasons you might need to transfer to a different school.

You also might want to play football at a higher level, experience a different system or different coaching if your decision to move on is football driven.

Next phase of life can easily be a masters degree or other higher level of education or different professors. Could also be football motivated...it's a good thing.
