Describe the surreal loss to Illinois in 1 sentence

Exiting the game, the finish was relived as we walked past a pick-up that had left 4th street, sped over the embankment, through the shrubs and come to rest against the Williams Arena patio wall.

Since we're being surrealistic...A picture can be as good as a sentence...

But for a sentence:

Thanks Gophers for a full laugh-out-loud when the Illini scored to go ahead...

When you’ve lived as long as I have, you’ve seen a couple dozen of these.

Gophers QB throws like Duran but with different results, and Ignatius L. Hoops relives the loss in the funniest way possible.

"Fleck recruits at the same level as Illinois and lost to them -- why are you surprised?"

Least surprising thing I've witnessed all week

How does this keep happening to Minnesota?

or

We are cursed.

or

Was this the last time we have a chance to win something notable (as much as B1G West Division title is notable) in my/our lifetimes?

Back-up quarterback comes off bench in last 2 minutes and tosses three uncanny passes for a total of 85 yards and a TD and Gophers lose another one that seemed in the bag.

I don't need a sentence. Here is the description in 1 word....

Expected.

Here is another description with just 1 word....

Normal.

This is who we are. We are destined to be a below average to slightly above average average team. Our "mountain top" is simply a base camp on a mountain where either teams continue to go up. We are at a base camp that seems to be as high as we can hike.

The Minnesota Finish.

Most teams have a backup QB who is better than our starter.
