All Things 2023-2024 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

Will be curious how well we play against the Nuggets.

Target Center is going to be bonkers.
Don't like our chances. We are on the 2nd of a back to back and coming from Utah. But anything can happen.

Wolves and Utah play again tonight at 8:00 out in Salt Lake City. Looking at the injury report Utah could be winning this one.

Jaylen ClarkGMar 19OutMar 3: Clark (Achilles) is out for Sunday's game against the Clippers and remains out indefinitely.

Anthony Edwards with the Dunk of the year and he then leaves the court and heading back to the locker room.

Believe Wolves didn't have any turnovers in the 2nd half.
Another big misses time
J-Mac is money from 3
Denver is tied with Boston for best record in the last 10 games with 8-2 and have won 12 of last 14

Pretty spectacular dunk by Edwards. He dislocated his finger on it and gave John Collins, who was having a good game, an eye contusion in the process. Another head injury to Naz Reid limited him to only 17 minutes.

Lotta contributors for a much needed win with the Nuggets coming to town for tonight's game. Hope Mike Conley plays the way he did in the first Utah game not the way he played last night too

Anybody heard how Naz is doing?

The view from Utah.

Best performance: Anthony Edwards had a game-high 32 points, shooting 56.5% on the night to go with seven assists, seven rebounds, two blocks and a steal.

17: The Jazz were really close in this one through most of the night, but turnovers were one of the reasons that they fell behind in the end. They committed 17 miscues which turned into 27 points for the Timberwolves.

Best of the best: Edwards had one of the most insane dunks I’ve ever seen. He posterized John Collins so hard that both players were injured. Edwards played the rest of the game with two fingers taped together and Collins, after getting hit in the face with both Edwards’ hand and knee didn't play the rest of the game.

You know it's a monster dunk when two guys are injured on the play. 🙂

Gobert, Reid, Edward’s all GTD

Not having our Top 3 C's against Joker is no way to bake a cake.
He dominates us even when we have the big 3.

Shut the others down.

I think we show up tonight and the crowd will be behind them big time knowing we are short handed.

If Ant is out, then there is no reason to play the game. :)

The Wolves beat Denver by 21 back in November, but that was with Gobert, Towns, Reid and Edwards.

Most people would be surprised to know that The Wolves have now won 6 of their last 8 regular season games against Denver. Though doubt that any of them featured the Wolves depending upon their 4th string Center.

6 of 8

They knocked us out of the playoffs last year. Regular season?

Yes it is. Just like tonight's game. Don't mean to be a "bleep" about it but you've asked the same question every time it comes up. Here again is the link.

Gobert and Naz aren't playing. Though Edwards is. It's 21-14 Denver. Garza has been in for 3 minutes.

If Denver can beat the Wolves without McDaniels in that playoff series can't see them losing to the Wolves tonight.

Gonna watch the Gopher/Butler game. So far it's 17-11 Gophers.

Got it, but we have not beaten them 6 of the last 8
