    Andy Katz on the Gophers

I like watching this team, my expectations have been virtually blown apart. And I’m scared to take that step of adjusting my expectations. I really enjoy the ability to be happy with nearly every performance and the perspective is completely different than the last 10 or so years of gopher...

    Ben Johnson and this team

I was very down after watching that first game of the season. they could lose every game the rest of the way and I’ll leave the season impressed. I don’t know how much is coaching or how much is veteran leadership and a streak of good shooting. every player has exceeded my expectations that...

It’s also maroon colored glasses. There is no way in hell national pundits consistently think the gophers roster is better than the badgers it’s just coaching that puts them over the top every year. If that were the case guys like Andy Katz wouldn’t be singing Pitinos praises all the time.

Absolutely everyone’s got their quirks. If I have any criticism of the interview it would be that your initial reaction to most of his answers was that word. Was distracting, not to a level of annoyance just to a level of notice. Which matters.

Shama: Patrick Klinger on what he sees as changing landscape of attending sporting events

My wife has been living like this for years. People might get closer to her after this. Not eating out during flu season, using hand sanitizer religiously, not making visits if someone has a cough. It’s exhausting. But she’s boasting right now.

Anybody listening to the Pitino show?

Should have known better than to mention UVA.... They took a step back. And the step back was impacted by 3 early departures, something Tony hadn't had to deal with since Shayok left early in 16/17. As did Texas Tech. I just said there are better examples of teams reloading after unexpected...

Anybody listening to the Pitino show?

Umm. I think you could pick better examples to prove your point. Both teams took significant steps back due to early departures.
