Trey Potts - UPDATED With Statement from the U

It’s all about fleck in his mind. The guy sucks!

I recall hearing in 2020 —— electronic records can be hacked.

Not that we can really infer much from this photo -- but I thought it was telling that Trey was not present. Hopefully he is fine, and I am just reading too far into a night of pumpkin carving.

I don't believe he's been on the sidelines since the injury either, which is concerning.

I took it that Trey Potts the person is much more important than football.
Of course -- just shocking to me that he's still not well enough to carve pumpkins with the other running backs or stand on the sideline (if thats the actual reason for his absence)

Since everyone is assuming, how about this assumption. Think of the shit storm that would be caused if Potts had a blood clot that formed in his lungs due to receiving the Covid-19 vaccination? That would be a condition that would definitely cause silence at ground zero. I can tell from a past experience that once a blood clot is found in the lungs you will never see a medical team move faster at treatment in your life. It would explain the heavy commotion of getting him in and out of the tent that has been described in the earlier posts of this thread. Oh, how politics have ruined our way of life!
I had a stroke 5 years ago and as I faintly recall there was NO dilly dallying by any involved.

Yeah, would be a bit of a relief to see him roaming the sidelines with Mo during the games, hopefully he gets to a point where that is possible this year still.

Jelen and Ibrahim were both at the RB thing so it would stand to reason that if Potts were physically able to attend he would have been there.

Hopefully we get a little more clarification on what he is dealing with eventually. Not because we deserve to know but because it would put a lot of people's minds at ease about what is going on with him. As fans we get invested in these players and when something strange happens to one of them there is a definite desire to know what is going on.

Do you see the irony? Finishing your post with "oh how politics have ruined our way of life" yet injecting political rhetoric about the vaccine into a football thread IN THE SAME POST?

Shaking my head into a concussed state at this one.

Potts posted on IG yesterday. Just a picture of him in uniform

Or he could have one or more blood factors (leidens (sp?)). Some of us are just more predispositioned to clotting. Some people really have to move around periodically during flights do to clotting disorders. Many don't find out they have it (one or more clotting disorders/ factors)till they have a medical event.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have him back home with his family. Remote school work is much more accessible now. There is also a decent chance he is on medications that might make him a bit more immunocompromised.

My point is that there might be medical reasons for him to avoid things like the sidelines and carving pumpkins right now that don't really equate to any type of severity.

All of that said, I have no idea what is going on with Trey. I just hope he's healthy.

You know it is kind of sad that I hadn’t even considered the fact that he is from PA. Would make a ton of sense for him to be back home in PA, given that whatever happened was obviously very serious.

Not that he couldn't have gone back, but when he was released I thought we were told that he rejoined the team in Minnesota (or at least came to Minnesota)

At one point PJ said he was back on campus.

But that was a week after release IIRC.

I'll go with the theory where he is resting at home with his family right now. In addition doing his classes online to keep up. Whatever it was, it took a toll on him. Hopefully he can be on the sidelines later this season. Get well!

This is far fetched but Mrs Potts turned into that when the beast’s castle got cursed. Any chance Trey is Chip?

Do UofM scholarship athletes get good health insurance? The best in-network care for most policies is extremely limited geographically which could be an issue if he's on a family policy. If the U has good local heath insurance for athletes, then I'm talking out my ass.
