Wisconsin new uniforms

Looks like little Johnny of Mrs. Schmidt's 3rd grade class at Madison elementary school won the uniform design contest. The only thing to make it worse would be to make their pants look like the red and white fan overalls.

A: The team that looks like a bunch of animated used tampons.

Their throwbacks with the W on front isn't too bad. These fighting tampons are just glorious. HAHAHAHAHAHA

They didnt even try to be authentic. The W on the old helmet was on the front. I'll find an old pic of Sandy picking off a pass with a BADger in the photo.

I don't mind Wisconsin's usual uniforms and I liked Michigan's alternate uni's with the big M. In no way am I a fan of either of those teams. I think most people are adult enough to understand the shades of gray involved with thinking a team's jerseys are cool even though they don't care for the team.

Aside from that, Adidas must have gotten a positive reaction from the Michigan uniforms because they made that the boilerplate for each school thereafter. If I was Barry Alvarez, I'd be pissed off. I wouldn't have checked off on those. It's one thing for uniforms to be derivative of each other, like the Nike Pro Combats, but they aren't the same freaking design each time like Adidas has done with Wisconsin and Nebraska.
 



LOL - Seriously....Those are freakin ugly! Even Bucky fans have to admit that.

On that note, I actually kinda like those. I think the "W" could stand to be a little thicker/bolder, but other than that, I give it a thumbs up. I've never been a fan of the weird "motion W" thing they have going on usually.
 



Ok here you all go. Especially you BADger fans who don't know your own history. If they would have done this uniform....they would get high marks. But they caved to just being crappy.

Bronko's family wore ones with an old school M a couple years back. It didn't look crappy like Nebraska and Wisconsin 's do here.

I'm too tired tonight to dig it up. Maybe someone else will...or I'll do it tomorrow.

I actually like the W on the front of the helmet and the W on the socks.
This picture has to be instagrammed, however, because we all know the skunks didn't have football until 1993

These new becky unis are purely hideous..... total miss, but they fit sconnie just fine.

I'm surprised that the University of Wisconsin isn't getting sued by Nintendo for font infringement. You turn that "W" upside-down, and it would look exactly like the "M" from Super Mario Brothers.
 

Are these supposed to be "throw-back" jerseys, or "throw-up" jerseys?

(Although, to be honest - my favorite Gopher jerseys were the all-gold jerseys from the 70's with the 'real' gold color - as opposed to the shade of yellow they call 'gold' today. If I wasn't such a klutz on the computer, I'd put a picture here - but I don't know how to do that........)
