So what version of the Gophers will we see Saturday against an 8-2 OKSt team at home?

Maybe the confidence level has picked up after the OSU performance and will translate into better consistency. Carr was All American against OSU but can an we expect a solid 15 ppg, fewer TO's and more assists going forward and give us someone to match Omersa's scoring? Will Gabe continue to take it to the hoop which could get him more looks from 3? Can Omersa continue to do many things better and stay out of foul trouble? Will Demir and Williams continue to improve and will Willis's ankle allow him to go 20+ minutes?

Tough game after finals. Willis's ankle is the biggest question. He can shoot and plays solid D. The thin bench makes his health even more critical.

It's all about the 3. Make them early and there's a good chance to win. Shoot em' like at Iowa and you've got no shot. You can't take it to the hoop if they don't have to guard you on the perimeter.

Game is in Tulsa (neutral site), not in Stillwater. That helps some.

Great thread title BFG. Couldn't agree more. Part of it due to the new parts assembly.

I think inconsistency is the real gopher team. As I said in the Ohio St game thread (before the game) the Gophers will beat some very good teams and lose to some not very good teams. Just the way this team is right now. Hopefully as the year progresses they get more consistent.

So many teams have been so up and down. The Gophers are more normal in that respect than they are abnormal.

The closest thing to a bad loss in any of this is the Iowa game, and that's due to the margin of defeat. Their destiny is still in their hands.
