The key to this game is fan noise when the Visitors have the ball, and the crowd delivers. Chants of Kill, Kill, Kill ring out. The opening drives for both teams are thrust and perry. The team from south of here gets a first down, but is forced to punt from there 32. The punt is 35 yards with no run back. The Gophers get a first down and they need to punt the punt is downed inside the visitors 10 yard line. Field position another key is in the Gophers favor. The visitors runs three times and is forced to punt this one is returned to the visitors 40. A run by Cobb to the 35, a fake to Cobb rolling right Leidner hits Goodger and he rumbles to the 18. Back to Cobb he breaks out the back door to the 8. Leidner fakes to Cobb and looks to pass, a great block by Cobb its a QB draw. Minnesota 7 Visitors 0.

The kickoff finds the visitors returning to the 24. Two runs and pass to a first down at the 40. Stretch play to the outside and a run to the 50. Another pass to the 30. Back to the run, four yards. again 4. 3 and 2. A pass to the 10. 3 runs and its 4th and 2. The visitors chose to put points on the board 7-3.

Minnesota returns the kickoff its Johnson hitting the seam and he takes it to the Visitors 35. Leidner fakes to Cobb and Maye is open the pass is incomplete but there is a flag. Interference on the visitors. 1 down on the twenty. Back to Cobb, he breaks it to the 8. Again to Cobb to the 5. Gophers in the I Leidner spins fakes the handoff to Cobb going over the top and bootlegs it for the TD. Gophers 14 Visitors 3 as the 1st Quarter ends.

The visitors begin throwing the ball. They make two first downs, and its back to the ground game. They march to the Gopher twenty. And hit a post pattern for the TD. 14-10. The Gophers get the ball but are unable to do anything and punt. Its a huge punt driving the return man to his twenty, he retreats and is snowed under. There is no further scoring in the half

The third quarter sees the visitor taking the second half kick off and marching to midfield. The pass to a slanting receiver is tipped and Vereen picks it off he streaks down the sidelines but is caught from the angle at the 15. Read option and its Cobb, then its Leidner to the outside and he is knock out on the 3. In comes the jumbo lineup. Willams bashed it to the 1. Williams again for the score.
21-10.

The kick is returned to the 35. The gopher defense force a three and out after a sack by TC. The punt is returned to the Gopher 35. Williams for 4, again for 4, again for 3. The Gophers are starting to win the battle at the line of scrimmage. Williams for 5, Liedner for 4, Williams for 5. The visitors are creeping the safety up for the 8 man look. A fake to Williams and roll out and Max Williams catches it at the 38 and takes it to the 25. A run by Williams, again, and then Liedner for a first down at the 12. The visitors stiffen and a field goal is good. 24-10.

The visitors get a great runback, to the Gopher 40. They move in on three passes on third down and score as the 3rd Quarter ends. 24-17

The fourth quarter sees the its the Gophers and the Clock vs. The Visitors. The Gophers are running the ball and with each first down it takes 2 minutes off, the drive is stalled at the at the visitors 30. A long field goal is good. 27-17. The Gophers kick off with 9 minutes left. There is no runback, and the Visitors QB is sacked and stripped by TC and its Hageman with the ball and he is rumblin' stumblin' with an escort for the score. 34-17. There will be no more scoring in the final 5 minutes, but assorted cheers are going up. We Want Floyd! and Who Hates Iowa! And Jerry Sota! This is a win for the team, fans and the State. Where exactly is the score posted high above the stadium? I can only think of the west scoreboard and the ribbon boards. Do they post graphics on the secondary board on the east side?

Schnauzer.... I think he using the line from when Morgan Mundane/Steve Cannon use to predict the Big Ten scores on CCO. It was in reference to old Memorial Stadium.
