I wonder if he has given up on football. Its hard to imagine transferring to a school like the University of San Diego (not San Diego State) to have a better opportunity. I'm sure he had better places he could have gone.

Maybe he wanted to be eligible this season. Nice location, team is coming off a 9-2 record, and perhaps he'd rather be a big fish in the small pond .
