Minnesota dominated from start to finish on its way to posting a 34-7 win over Michigan State in East Lansing to begin Big Ten play with a flourish. Senior quarterback Tanner Morgan was 23-of-26 passing for 268 yards and three touchdowns. The Golden Gophers limited the Spartans to just one total yard in the first quarter and 240 total yards for the game while possessing the ball for 42 minutes.
