Just ask tight end Hayden Rucci, a redshirt senior, what it would mean to take Paul Bunyan's Axe from the Gophers and bring it back to Madison.
"It's everything," Rucci said. "I've been here for five years. The last two years, haven't been able to get that Axe, and it hurts every year to finish regular season like that without that Axe in the trophy case. So that is the only thing this week that our energy and focus is going into is bringing that Axe back home."
