FSU played not to lose. They were up 16-3 and pussyfooted around until NC State came back and beat them.

Yeah FSU let that one get away. NC State converted at least 2 4th downs (one a 4th and 10) on the last drive to win. FSU had the ball and just needed one more first down to run out the clock (hard to do for any team), and still punted. Then the punt was blocked (or possibly the guy just roughed the punter who got off an awful punt), but NS State had 2 minutes and 50 yards to go. It was slow, ugly and methodical, but they got the job done at home. It just proves that FSU is a very good team this year, but not national championship ready.
