All whites looked great today but a slight change with a kiss of gold to the helmet logo and the uniforms would have been nearly perfect.

All white, all black have no identity - could be anybody. The press gave us the "Golden Gopher" brand back in the 1930s and it is mentioned that way today on all broadcasts, channels, networks. We should have a recognizable school-colors uniform for national TV audiences, recruits, fans. Enough with black, white, anthracite, etc. Maroon, gold and white - play with those colors and use one version of them a lot.
