U of MN Press Release:

The University of Minnesota announced today that it will not extend its temporary proof of COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative, third-party COVID-19 test beyond Feb. 9, 2022.

The policy was put in place from Jan. 26, 2022 – Feb. 9, 2022 and included campus and athletic events that had more than 200 people in attendance, but from Feb. 10, 2022 on, proof of negative test or vaccination status is no longer required.

The University's face covering policy does remain in place and all guests attending an indoor Gopher Athletics event on campus will be required to wear a well-fitted mask.

We deleted all of the posts in this thread that went off-topic. We want to keep the two posts above included as it gives details that are important to ticket holders. We are closing this thread. If you would like to discuss COVID and/or the decision for the mask mandate at Gopher basketball games, we encourage you to go to the Off-Topic Political/Current Events board where there are plenty of threads to choose from.
