I for one, would love to see the Vikings snatch Winfield Jr. out of Tampa and have him fill the Harrison Smith role. I remember when his dad was also traded to the Vikings in the early stages of his prime. Similar timing.

It sounds like TB will use the franchise tag on Winfield rather than Mayfield so the dream is dead. Just think...we could've had both Antoine and Kyle Hamilton at safety if we drafted properly.
