To win Big Ten West, Gophers need Iowa to lose twice

Per Greder:

After being in pole position, Gophers will likely now need the first-place Hawkeyes to lose at least two of their final three games for Minnesota to win the Big Ten West division.

Go Gophers!!
It could happen. Iowa could lose to both Rutgers and Nebraska.

I just want the likely disaster in Indy for the 1% chance the 7-5 Gophers win the Big Ten

I guess that would be something for the sheer oddity of it and a fitting swan song for the Big Ten West. Still, we've been stomped twice already and likely have one more before the regular season is over. I'm not up for experiencing another rout after the season and especially not one at night and on national TV.

It is crazy how messed up the west is and how a play here and there could have changed it all.

Nebraska is two questionably replay calls away from being 5-1 in conference play.
Minnesota is two collapses away from being 5-1 in conference play
Iowa is a missed call away from being 5-1 in conference play

If you look at one score games and flip games that were 6 or fewer points.

Nebraska 5-1 (Wins over MN and MSU)
Iowa 3-3 (Win over MN and losses to NW and Purdue)
Minnesota 3-3 (loss to Iowa and NE, wins over IL and NW)
Wisconsin 3-3 (Win over IN and loss to IL)
Purdue 2-4 (Win over IA)
Northwestern 1-5 (Lose to MN and Maryland and beat IA)
Illinois 1-5 (Lose to MN and Maryland and beat WI)
