The tip off is more a barometer of the overall success of the program. Winning => Enthusiastic fans => people at the tip-off. A highly attended midnight madness type even would mean the program is in great shape which should lead to more successful recruiting.

You are the only person using the word announcement. If it was on the calender for 5 and they changed it two weeks prior that is poor planning.

You assuming an intern entered the wrong time is equally as pathetic as your little blog.
 

You should be directing your ire at the marketing folks for not announcing an event that is two weeks away, even though they date and presumably the time is chosen by the NCAA years in advance. As Gopherwarrior pointed out last year, the NCAA decides when practice can begin, not individual teams.

My point was that the time of 5 pm didn't look like it was intended be the time, or even to be public. If it was the intended time or was intended to be public, it wouldn't have been buried on a calendar on website that is hardly obvious to the general public, and is obviously not updated (all the links on the sidebar of the page are broken). I actually can't find a link from the Gopher sports website to this calendar where it is listed ( http://www.gopherfanrelations.com/calendar.php?mo=10&yr=2011). It still isn't on the main calendar (https://www.mygophersports.com/Onli...&menu_id=CF53CB1D-DF42-46C7-8784-BB1B7A4BD143 ).

It was on their calendar earlier today showing the event at 7pm. That page has been around a while, sometime today it changed/vanished. Idiots.

I have seen your blog, I don't visit anymore.
