John Hankinson throws a 37-yard touchdown pass to this 230-pound senior end from Port Arthur, Texas. Her would go on to play 9 years in the NFL and play in Super Bowls I and IV with the Chiefs, knocking Joe Kapp out of the game in the latter.

Gophers ruin Hayden Fry's last game as Billy Cockerham has touchdown passes of 27 and 25 yards to this junior wide-out from Miami. Earlier in the season, he helped Minnesota beat Michigan State with a first half scoring punt return.

A sophomore running back from Daytona Beach has touchdown runs of 1, 4 and 8 yards. He would go on to graduate from medical school at "The U" and go back to Florida to begin a long career as a general practitioner.

Wow, thanks for putting that together! I'm too young to know more than 2 or 3, but that's impressive work by you -- and a fun stroll down memory lane for long-time Gopher fans. Hats off!
