"We like scheduling teams who might have a little name recognition in the area. From a regional standpoint, it makes a lot of sense for us."
Honestly, I think the only way to oppose this is for season ticket holders to put all their seats on Craigslist for like 50 cents. This does NOTHING to help the program. Let the athletic department explain why a game against South Dakota has 30,000 SD fans (or empty seats).
