If Carpenter starts to catch some long passes......shouldn't we call it the "Hayo Mary?"
 


Yes we should. And I hope our announcers get plenty of opps to use that line.

Great idea! This is a great example of a Gopher Twist on the great Minnesota Twins commercials the past couple of years....
 

That was really good. I hope the everyone gets lots of chances to sing that song.

Kinda off topic, but this thread reminded me of when I played college ball. I played for a small D2 school as a WR. Anyways, we got a JUCO WR from California one year. He was alright, but was very cocky even when he wasn't doing much. So the first few weeks of practice, we're slowly installing our offensive playbook. This kid would sit in the back during offense meetings and wouldn't say a thing. I think it was at the end of the second week of 2-a-days and at the end of a meeting, out of nowhere he raises his hand, the first time he's asked anything in any meeting, and says "When we puttin in da bomb, coach?" It was just so random that everyone busted out laughing. I guess you had to be there to really understand it. It was funny though. All season, all he wanted to do was run the deep route.

All this talk of the long ball reminded me of that. Anyways, back to Hayo. :D
 

I want to see/hear a packed house all singing it. ESPN would go bananas.
