Agreed. People are clearly getting tired of some of this. Its who they are I guess.

Having suffered about 4-5 concussions in my day, augmented with ADD and a Walter Mitty mind, I have the fortunate ability to tune out or ignore mindless chatter, so I came away unscathed. I've discovered this is especially handy while watching sporting events.
I did pay attention enough though to notice that Jason Benetti reminded me of Eddie Deezen.
