What was Williams thinking. So glad he got minutes but he pissed down his leg when given the opportunity.

Our 2nd half adjustment was to have Marcus dribble the air out of the ball and look at his stat line ... first half ball movement was great and it’s up to the coach to keep that the focus of the offense.

LOL.

This is such bullshit.

It had nothing to do with "ball movement." They dropped a few threes for the first 10 minutes of the game, and Purdue came out cold.

Then things returned to normal, and by the last few minutes of the 1st half, it was obvious which team would win. The team with better players and a MUCH better coach.

Your lack of knowledge of the game is actually quite funny ...

You didn’t notice that the first half 3’s were open shots in rhythm? Did you notice the energy level of the players? Did you notice that all went away at the end of the first half and carried through the 2nd half?

3 guys that accounted for 24 first half points took 2 shots in the 2nd half ...that’s crazy!

it wasn’t better players ... but I agree it was better coaching because a good coach would have sat Marcus for much of the 2nd half.

So they DIDN'T run the same lame offense in the second half as the first?

Lol.

They've ran the same "offense" for Pitino's entire time here.

Again, very simple ... passing and moving stopped as the dribbling started.

The ball can not be passed and dribbled at the same time.

Thus 1 player over dribbling stops the movement and changes the offense.

Go back and watch the first 8 minutes and then the first 8 minutes of the 2nd half.

Very easy for anyone to see.

They have run very good offense at times this year, and the first half of the first half yesterday was an example. Then, they fall into what the rest of the game was, and Carr is the biggest culprit. It’s on Pitino to hold him accountable for this and he doesn’t. Coaching isn’t just coordination of offense and defense, it’s leadership and getting people to execute that design as a team consistently.

The Gophs have done it on both ends of the court well, and not consistently. The coach has continued to allow Carr’s inconsistency and when he dominates the ball they don’t play well.

I wonder how much of Kalschuer's shooting problems are related to the fact that he doesn't have Coffey to play along side of.

It's hard to play without a true PG, it's not only open shots but offensive movement that matters, standing around takes you out of the game and destroys your concentration.

Tre started?

Ok, I knew that. Anyone know why? Too bad about the Technical he was having a very good first half.

It did seem like the wheels came off after the Tech, you can say it was coaching or scheme, but it may have been Tre poking the bear as well. Players respond to getting messed with.

Teammates deflate to giving up a lead stupidly as well.
