It looks like most of the teams that have beating the Gophers are very good teams so far in the season:
- Oklahoma is 7-1 (wins over ORST, STAN, MIZ)
- 24th ranked Butler is 9-0 (wins over MIZ, STAN, MISS, FLA)
- Utah is 7-2 (wins over BYU and a couple of bad losses)
- DePaul is 9-0 (wins over IOWA, BC, TTU)

ratings of:

Oka - Pom:39 RPI:26 BPI:64 Mas:23
But - Pom:13 RPI:16 BPI:18 Mas:18
Utah - Pom:111 RPI:72 BPI:129 Mas:83
DeP - Pom:51 RPI:28 BPI:69 Mas:32
Gophers - Pom:63 RPI:62 BPI:55 Mas:91

We have NOT been a bad team. We have NOT been a very good team, either. With some better FT shooting we beat OU. Butler, Utah, a Depaul games were relatively tight.

Book is still to be written for this season...

Yeah....it looks like those early season losses might not have been too bad. You'd still think that they'd win one or two of them. Both Oklahoma and Utah could/should have been wins.

Still going to be interesting to see how the season goes. Lots of new players getting significant playing time. They might just need a little time to gel. The Iowa game tomorrow will be a good test to see where we are at. Iowa is good. Garza just put up around 50 points against Michigan(?) in a loss. We might run into foul trouble trying to guard him.

Agreed. However the losses are still there.

We have been playing decent competition. Loses have not been that bad but the playing has not been that good yet. Let's see what tonight's game against Iowa brings. Hopefully we are getting over the learning curve. New team, young players, go Gophers.

If there's any hope of a tourney bid, they've got to get Oklahoma St. Granted its been a tough NC schedule, but the committee doesn't reward you for playing a tough schedule if you don't beat any of the teams on it.

Utah has no upperclassmen. How could they possibly hang with UK?
Maybe our loss on their court was not as bad as some made it out to be.

Utah with a big time win.

They have a couple ugly head scratching losses. But other than that they are looking pretty legit for Pac-12 play

This.

Same as college football. You do not get rewarded for playing a P5 team and losing. The kudos for scheduling difficult in that scenario is simply keeping you in the conversation come the latter half of the season if not other losses.
