Yeah, I think the roots are in Dow Chemical, which is based in the Detroit area.

Sure, fine, I get it. History.

And ... you're allowed to change your name. That is allowed. So, I would think a non-weird name would be appropriate. But it's their business.


"Make sure you buy your groceries locally, at Acid Foods!"

I've always wanted Land O' Lakes to sponsor a stadium around the TC. It would be perfect - sounds like a name they might have picked if not a corp sponsor.
