I don't think any one publication is the know-all. It takes a composite of views to reach a better conclusion.
Amaya Battle should have made first team. Being a terrific point guard leader, her elite skills are not flashy, precisely passing in support of others as the team quarterback. Minnesota coaches later voted her Minnesota Miss Basketball. So the accolades got spread around.
On the other hand, guard Olivia Olson deserves praise too, having been described in the same class as Paige Bueckers.
The list appears guard heavy.
Hopefully Minnesota can attract good "BIGs" in the state too.
