I'd love to know the basic calculations and weightings for this ranking. It makes sense for the most part but there are always head scratchers. E.g., Wisconsin, A&M, Tennessee, and also Nebby for most of the year. Would those teams really be favored to win vs. the next few teams further down in the list?

Yeah, but there are still some weird predictive rankings. For example, would you put money on Wiscy or Tennessee to beat OK State, OK, Oregon, etc. in a neutral site game?

Regardless, I love this type of stuff. Extra data to question the pollsters' subjective opinions.

No. I don’t like efficiency based metrics

I especially don’t like them when they cook their own rating with confirmation bias by adjusting efficiency to SOS where the SOS is based on their own ratings
