Well, he got something done before this fall.
Did you get any texts from him? What did you know?

100% this gets delayed.
The donors are donating to the U, not teague. He just shakes hands & kisses butts at cocktail parties. (Apparently to many cocktails at the parties though)

In all likelyhood those that were going to donate still will regardless of who the AD is. Where this hurts though is on the relationship front. Anyone that has done fundraising knows it can be a long drawn out process where you have to establish a strong relationship over time. NT has been cultivating those relationships the past few years and now a new AD will have to come in and work to fix and maintain those relationships going forward.
So while it is absolutely true that the donors are not doing so just because of NT he was the main face of the Athletic Department so this will almost certainly have some level of negative impact on fund raising in the short term until the new AD comes on board.

I'll take that bet. The AD is not in charge of this project.
Boom. Delayed.
You and GW should go have a celebratory beverage.
It'll get done, no indication it won't. That's the life of a project.
No one disagrees that facilities will be upgraded. $190MM won't, though. The "plan" won't get done. Plenty of indication it won't. But intelligent folks knew that from the get go.
What do I get, what don't I get?
Pay for what you can afford I guess.
