Id guess similar total compensation. $7500 isn’t bad though. Good for him.

I'd guess most of these guys can make a little cash showing up at some camps and giving some instruction. Not additional 6 figure incomes but to supplement the 7500 a month that isn't a bad gig.

I would imagine he also gets housing (either free or at a steep discount, as that is what a ton of these minor league franchises line up for their players) and a solid per diem. So much more of his $7500/month makes it into his bank account than an average person.
