It will be interesting to see if U athletic director Mark Coyle, whose name was linked earlier this year to openings at Kansas and Missouri, is mentioned for the Florida State job.

Go Gophers!!

Gopher hole is a much better source for actual news than Shama
Amen to that. Shama and Shooter are so worthless it isn't even funny. They throw stuff against a wall.....like Fleck to Virginia Tech just to see if they can get something to stick no matter how stupid it is.

At least Shooter has had a regular column for decades. Shama is just some guy writing for an audience of three or so. How did anyone even find his terrible little site?

Googled Murray's steakhouse?

What about Doogie? He wants in he club.
Agree with what the others have said about Doogie. He isn't always the greatest but at least he is trying and genuinely seems to care. Shama and Shooter are just cashing a check and phoning it in. They just toss out any random nugget they hear or make up to see if they can get any traction with it.

Shama isn't cashing any checks. He's writing for himself. He's a nobody.

At least Walters still writes for a once-great newspaper that is a shell of itself.

Kansas and Missouri lol. Those are way steps down.

Maybe he could nail it this time. I thought Coyle had left already??

Serious question. Why even post his stuff? Who normally posts his stuff?

since hes clearly never right or has anything worth reading.

its like were click bait

If he ever does leave, I wonder if he'll take the heating coyles with him?

FWIW - Michael Alford was just announced as the new FSU AD. Vince Tyra, Louisville AD was thought to have the inside track - Louisville Board of Trustees had even waived the ACC non-compete agreement - but it did not come to pass for some reason.

In what should not be a surprise I guess, FSU decided to go with the President and CEO of Seminole Boosters, Inc. While Alford did have some AD experience in the past (at mighty Central Michigan), FSU decided to go with the guy who will obviously have the boosters in his back pocket (or is it the other way around?)

It will be interesting to see if Shama is up for a Pulitzer soon

Is BleedGopher actually Shama? He's the only one who ever posts these scintillating tidbits from cosplay Sid.

And, say what you want about Shooter, but he broke both the Norwood Teague being fired and Jerry Kill retiring stories.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes.

AD main job is to hire the right coaches to win, and raise money. The latter is much easier to do if the people with the money like you and if the teams win. I guess?
