and zachs sister does the white sox post and pre game on tv and is a very attractive blonde.

Wow...very tragic news. My condolences to the surviving Kustok family members.

If I'm not mistaken, after Zak decided to leave Notre Dame, Zak and his dad jumped in the family car and drove up to the Twin Cities. Zak was ready to commit to the Gophers on the spot, but, as it turned out, there was no scholarship offer waiting.

IIRC, the Kustok's may have felt misled, as it was their understanding (from their previous discussions with a Gopher assistant coach) that a scholly was waiting, but Glen Mason nixed that idea.
