Redshirt Freshmen question!

Hello gang, I would be interested to know if there is an Ncaa rule regarding how many players (football, of course) are allowed to be redshirted per year?

Can Brewster redshirt as many as he wants? Or does it have something to do with their scholarship awarded to the player?

There is no limitation.

You can redshirt your entire class, or none of it, or anything in between.
