Awhile ago I asked a question about recruiting a player with no arms, but was something like 6'6", 265lbs and could run a 4.2. The thread was deleted by the administrators.

Well, according to CNN the University of Central Florida offered a scholarship to a one handed kid, who signed last week. Here's the article:

While I don't expect that the admin will offer up a public apology, I will accept it anyway because I'm the bigger person. Apology accepted.

There was a kid I played HS football with (he was 2 years older than me) who had one hand and the other hand was nub (sorry if that's not the technical term, no disrespect). He was a heck of a football player, played OL and I believe he ended up at St. Johns, I am not sure if he played all the way through or not.
