We're in uncharted territory for at least as long as I've been a Gopher fan...which was Day 1 of the Mason era.

We've had serviceable QBs at best over this period...some bordering on good...but Tanner's the real deal.

Hope for the future is always present and outside of a year like 2017 when your QBs were Croft/Rhoda, fans are going to be optimistic that things will improve.

But that is different then what we have going currently on offense. We have a chance to be one of the best offenses in the conference and possibly even the country. That is very different then just hoping for a little bit of improvement. Croft and Rhoda were terrible.
