Would you look at that? Cory Sauter actually THROWING THE BALL AWAY...interesting.......

Purdue's QB had the weakest arm I have ever seen...

Man - I'll never forget being at that game. I couldn't believe how many yards Alstott and Darkins piled up. Classic Purdue vs. Minny matchup where defense was a complete afterthought.
 

Alstott

He was a monster in college. I remember everyone constantly saying the Vikings should get him, which was completely based on his college games, mostly against the Gophers.

He only averaged over 4 yards a carry one season in the NFL and had a career 3.7 YPC.

He did score 58 TDs in 158 games, so about 5 a year. I guess I'd take that. Even though he was all-pro at FB 4 times, there were only 5 teams that actually used a FB duirng that era.

A very very average pro RB, but way better than me.
