Glen Mason is coaching the gophers. Just changed his name, gets a few facelifts, and disguises himself by wearing capris pants.

They are the same person. Ever see them in a room together? No? Exactly.

Meh, he needs about 6 more losses of this style to get to Glen’s level.
There's some wisdom here. Have to remember Mase was replaced by Brew. Although the timing was awful the good ones were not lining up to come here once Mase blew up his welcome.

Glen would already be planning his next golf trip. PJ recruits 24/7.

Glen would be worse than Tom Allen in this day and age.

Well apparently PJ isn’t recruiting that effectively. Mason had to recruit to the dome and significantly worse facilities yet still had multiple difference makers who had more than a cup of coffee in the NFL unlike PJ’s recruits.

Really those offenses with AAK under center were a beauty to behold.

PJ does so many things right—tireless recruiting, working on all aspects of his players’ lives, etc. But game day tactics, esp., when to shut down the offense (why ever shut it down ever?), is one of his worst yet most intractable traits. PJ’s offensive strategy is 20th Century, but virtually everyone else is playing in the 21st Century. Makes it really hard to win big games against highly-rated teams … and seems to produce a nearly impossible stinker against an inferior team each year. Such is the fate of all Gopher fans, I guess.

You mean the guy in year 7 hasn’t recruited anyone that had long nfl careers yet?
