Where's "down here"?

I'm assuming "Up There" is the TC Metro. Not too bad in South Minneapolis (yet) about 2" about 15 mph and about 20 degrees. Still no Phoenix.

Down here = Des Moines metro. 7" on the ground already and falling at 1"+ per hour. 13"-14 " are expected by morning with 35-45 mph sustained winds tomorrow. 15' drifts in the country.

I left the Twin Cities just before the snow arrived. I am in Phoenix until Friday and staying in Tempe. I reserved my usual work hotel for the bowl game. It was sunny and 55 degrees today in the Valley.
