The Good?: The Hurricanes get to play host to another potential bubble team, the Gophers. Considering there's little bounce anywhere else in their non-ACC schedule, it's almost a must-win for the Hurricanes, unless they go nuts in the ACC.

The (not so) Bad?: A semifinal matchup with Penn State and a title-game vs. South Carolina in the Charleston Classic would give the Hurricanes' weak nonconference slate a much-needed lift.

The Ugly?: This is another sorry excuse of a slate for a team expected to be battling for an at-large bid. How sorry is it? It's even worse than Maryland's. While he was at Texas, Frank Haith certainly didn't learn Scheduling 101 from Rick Barnes.

Boy that will sure help Minnesota when one of their key non-conference opponents has a SOS around 300 in the non-conference.

Miami Will Play TOUGH ACC Schedule

Their SOS will be Top 100 or better as a result.

ACC road games are never easy.
