  • All teams not listed are worth zero
  • Get 3 points for every win, Minus 1 point for every loss
  • All Division I games count.
  • Bonus points for NCAA wins and high NCAA seeds.

Point Values
Kansas 60
Michigan State 50
Texas 45
Kentucky 45
North Carolina 40
Villanova 40
Purdue 40
Butler 40
West Virginia 35
Duke 35
Tennessee 35
Connecticut 30
California 30
Washington 30
Dayton 30
Minnesota 30
Gonzaga 30

Ohio State 25
Oklahoma 25
Mississippi State 25
Georgetown 20
Louisville 20
Illinois 15

Northern Iowa 15
Southern Illinois 15
Virginia Commonwealth 15
Western Kentucky 15
Syracuse 10
Siena 10
Xavier 10
San Diego State 10
Creighton 10

Thanks!

Dingo,

Does this contest involve an entry fee or is it just for fun? If it involves money, I'd be interested in joining it. Send me a PM (with deadline, rules, etc.) if there's room for another entry.

Thanks.

Question for Dingo

Dingo,

Thanks for the info on your hoops pool. One question for you just so I'm clear on it. ... . ... wins vs. non-DI opponents (like Michigan vs. Northern Michigan) would not count, correct? Thanks.

Correct... The game needs to be Division I vs Division I.

Got it, thanks. I've changed my teams several times, but I'm finally sticking with 5. Hardest part was deciding whether to put more emphasis on teams that are likely to have a gaudy record, or ones that most likely will have a really good seed. Not necessarily 1 in the same. Finally settled on a combo with a little bit of both.
